Rehabilitation for Cancer Survivors

PINC and STEEL Rehabilitation for Cancer Survivors

  • The PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to improving the strength, quality of life and sense of well-being for those diagnosed with cancer.
  • It’s specifically designed to help maximise recovery, regain physical and emotional strength, improve body confidence and control.
  • The Program is delivered by certified PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapists and provides a full range of services designed to care, support and guide survivors through every stage of their treatment and recovery.

If you’re a survivor or have a family member or friend that you would really like to help, call the clinic on 09 407 4288 and speak to one to Allison or Rebecca. Alternatively, visit the PINC & STEEL website to read more and see if you’re eligible for support from the PINC & STEEL Trust.

What’s next?

Next Steps is a group exercise program for people who have finished their main cancer treatment and want to take the next steps on their road to recovery.

The Program runs for one hour per week for ten weeks and is specifically designed to help people  affected by cancer & cancer treatments.

Many Ways To
Book

To see a Physiotherapist, you can call us, email us or just pop-in to the clinic. (You don’t always need a GP’s referral but, if you do have one already, that’s OK. Just bring it with you or have it handy when you call.) We will book you in with your preferred Physiotherapist (if you have one) for an initial appointment (usually 30-min).
