Class Descriptions

Men’s Health Class focused on Strength, Mobility & Balance

We identified a gap in community offerings specifically tailored to men’s health. To address this need, we’ve introduced a specialised class focused on strength, mobility, and balance for older men or individuals requiring support in these areas.

Women’s Strength & Balance Class

Based on the success of our men’s health class, we’ve created a welcoming strength‑and‑balance class for older women, using light weights and simple equipment to build confidence, stability, and everyday strength in a supportive environment.

Older Adult Health Class focused on Strength, Mobility & Balance

Based on the success of our other strength & balance classes, we’ve introduced a smaller & more focused class for those clients that require more intensive input & supervision to keep things safe and comfortable.

Yoga

Join our new yoga class to help you find balance, improve flexibility, and build strength. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, Carolina will guide you through a series of poses and breathing exercises that promote relaxation and mindfulness.

Pilates
Mat Pilates offers numerous benefits, including enhanced core strength, improved flexibility, and better posture. It’s a low-impact exercise, making it gentle on the joints and suitable for all fitness levels. Our instructors may sometimes introduce other therapeutic exercise techniques into classes.

Few things to note:

  • Effective from 28 May 2026
  • To book call 09 4074288, email or book online
  • Classes are small – no more than 12 per class
  • If you have never done Pilates before, we suggest booking in an assessment with one of our instructors.
  • Our classes are best for those that can get onto and off the floor independently.
  • Please remember – if you’re feeling unwell or have any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and we’ll see you at the next class! 🙂
